The Sun will Come out Tomorrow!

Just yesterday I was noticing and loving how the days are getting longer.  We can hear a lot of birds now, too.  I thought, "Spring really is getting closer."  Then, today, I looked out my window, and it was snowing again.  Oh, well.  I prefer snow to rain--that's for sure!

I'm just glad we're all healthy at the moment (knock on wood). 

It's nice to have fun art work like this by Macy to always brighten my day. 

Silly Sayings

Carly (surveying her Halloween candy):  They call those teeny things Fun Size?  I'd call the really big ones Fun Size!

Macy (in the hot, steaming shower):  This is paradise.
Macy (coming out into the colder air):  This is un-a-dise.

Macy (investigating my pregnant belly):  Do you get bigger every minute?

Macy:  When I think of the number 19, I think it must be green.

Macy (touching my belly):  You really are a real pregnant lady now!

Macy:  (explaining how she'd get rid of raccoons in someone's attic when she grows up to be an animal control person)  I'd just drive around in a truck with garbage in the back.

Macy:  (explaining how she does craft projects)  I don't think about it at all.  I just let my hands do the work.

My Little Big Brother's Visit

Now that we have a nephew, Mikey, Mike has become known as Big Mike.  He is big in a lot of ways. Besides being as tall as our doorways, he has a big heart, and is always big fun--a perfect combo for me when he came to visit and I was sick.  The only problem was that every time he made me laugh, I had another coughing spell and my throat hurt more.  I loved his idea to take each girl out on their own special date.  Robyn got to be his tour guide downtown, Carly took him ice skating, and Macy showed him how to do German bowling.  We're so glad he came, and miss him big time!
