You Know You're getting old when...

You're better friends with the bride and groom's parents than the bride and groom.

You wake up (for no apparent reason) in the wee hours of the morning, only to finally fall back asleep and dream that you're taking a nap.

You realize that those drops at the eye doc. aren't your worst fear anymore.

What's made you feel old lately?

When one of my kids asked if there was tv when i was growing up.

Anyhow, i just read through all your blogs I have missed. I LOVED reading about Germany. I am so excited for you guys . . . but a little teary eyed too. Not sure why. I loved how you wrote to your girls. I love the pictures of the church--and that bread. I am so excited to keep up on how you guys are doing once you get over there. Did you find a place to live? When do you actually move?

And so sorry about the computer crashing. Did you lose all your pictures or were they still on your camera??

When I show up to a Dr.'s appt that I set up last week and find out that they told me they couldn't see me because they don't accept my insurance. Oh ya....I forgot about that part. Talk about a serious senior moment!

When I'm already seeing crow's feet! (Aaaah! I think it's from squinting here in AZ!)
More aches and pains in my joints and muscles!
College kids look like Junior Highers!
When I think that many of my memories of my mother are from when she was MY age! And she is now my "growing up year's" grandmother's age! Not too long before I'll be there...
Aaaah!
