A neighbor of ours gave us some rhubarb from her garden, saying she doesn't like it. She only grows it to share it with others. But, once she tasted this strawberry rhubarb pie, she changed her mind!
I don't remember knowing what rhubarb was before I met Myles. It's fun to have new recipes from both of our families to share with each other and now our kids. Robyn loves helping in the kitchen, whether the recipe is in German or English.

I think you had rhubarb from our house on Ibsen. In Chicago it is an alley plant many take for granted :)

That was fun to read the comment from your Aunt Sue! That pie looks amazing! It makes me think of Kara Arnold who first introduced me to strawberry rhubarb pie...MMmmmmmm! Let's all get together and eat some someday, shall we?! Miss you guys!
